It's not just in Texas -- a new poll found that women are drifting away from the GOP on a national level. 33% of women surveyed reported that the Republican Party was moving away from their perspective on the issues. The change is the most drastic among suburban, college-educated white women.

I guess that whole "shut down the government unless your employer can deny you birth control" thing isn't really working, is it.

They know that the demographics are shifting, and not in their favor. For all the gerrymandering, they may have trouble hanging on in 2014.
