On Rachel right now. Last time GOP was this low in popularity was during Clinton impeachment.
I've posted here before...and you can probably find it...my distinct recollection during that impeachment when the page turned.
It was when Ken Starr posted online Monica Lewinsky's testimony and we saw what Starr was spending his time (and our money on). This was his big prize. This?
It gave me hope that there will always be a tipping point, where the balance shifts. When people are finally disgusted enough as they learn the truth that they've had enough.
I hope we see this happening right now.

(24,777 posts)They manipulate the media, and voters' minds through their media outlets, regardless that their agenda hurts many of them (voters). They use tactics - brainwashing, propaganda - that are well known and well-won. They stop at nothing.
Reminds me of that famous line used against Sen. Joe McCarthy in the '50s: "have you no shame, Sir?". I'm afraid the answer is an unequivocal, no...
