Personally, I find Republican screaming about the ACA...

...of great comfort.

After all, this was the party that told us how the Clinton tax hikes of 1993 were going to "destroy jobs and plunge the economy into recession"; the party that was sure it would damage Clinton's reelection chances by shutting down the government in 1996; the party that was CERTAIN it would destroy Clinton's popularity by impeaching him; the party that told us how deregulating the financial markets would create long-term prosperity; the party that told us there were WMD's in Iraq; the party that told us the Iraqis would greet us as liberators; the party that told us the Iraq War would pay for itself in oil revenues and lower gas prices; the party that told us "supply-side" economics works...
AKA:
If the party that has been CONSISTENTLY WRONG on every major issue of the last 20 years is telling me how BAD something is, it's GOTTA be good.

"Don't blame us for the economic ruin that follows!" They washed their hands of the armageddon which they predicted.

And they try to take the credit for the surplus, now. Of course, if it's bad and a Dem signs it, it's the Dem president's fault. If it's bad and a Republican signs it, it's the Dems' fault ... somehow.

I haven't seen 40 votes to repeal NAFTA, nor did I see the Republican led House and Senate and President trying to repeal the act that they keep saying Clinton signed to cause the great recession ...
