Poll: Booker Leads Lonegan By 14 On Eve Of Special Election

TOM KLUDT – OCTOBER 15, 2013, 9:33 AM EDT

On the eve of New Jersey's special U.S. Senate election, a poll shows Newark, N.J. Mayor Cory Booker (D) maintaining his status as the favorite.

The latest survey from Quinnipiac University released Tuesday found Booker comfortably outpacing Republican Steve Lonegan, 54 percent to 40 percent.
