(27,445 posts)but that wont stop them from voting to Impeach. Then they would have all those hearings where they all get so much airtime yammering on and on.
I remember the Clinton Impeachment hearings. Endless yammering.

(5,049 posts)Turning impeachment in to a totally meaningless process completely devoid of any power or authority.

(13,877 posts)(social media) informed public and 3 out of 4 disapprove already. Obama's numbers are going up. The last time with Newt they had just been voted in with a euphoric new "party" of tea bags. This time, not so much and many will be lucky to keep their seats, let alone try and impeach the president.
Hoisted on their own petard.

(28,552 posts)... that would be a dream come true for Democrats. The public is already weary of the antics of the Republicans. Impeachment would, IMHO, ignite that attitude with napalm, as everyone but the 27% idiot-contingent knows this situation is not of Obama's making.
Throw Obama into that briar patch.

(24,347 posts)I don't give a damn if they bring articles of impeachment, and neither should the President. It'll look petty, petulant, and politically motivated. Know why? Cause it IS petty, petulant, and politically motivated.
If the President needs to use the 14th Amendment to protect the full faith and credit of the United States then he'd better do it, and the vast majority of the people in this country will back me up on that if this gets worse.
