Bill Clinton blasts GOP over Obamacare

Bill Clinton blasts GOP over Obamacare

HAMPTON, Va. — Bill Clinton expressed confidence Sunday that the Obamacare web site problems will get fixed soon, and he lit into Republicans for being so critical of the law’s implementation.

“The computer deal will get fixed up. Don’t worry about that,” he said at a nighttime rally here for Virginia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Terry McAuliffe, his third stop of the day.

The former president then recalled the problems implementing the now-popular Medicare Part D in 2006.

“Everybody’s forgotten, by the way, that when President George W. Bush and the Republicans put that Medicare Part D drug program in, it was more unpopular than the health care law and they had terrible problems with the computers,” he said. “Some seniors couldn’t even get medicine they had been getting, and the local pharmacists basically got together and made sure they stayed alive until the computers got fixed.”

He has both the intellect and the credibility to spank the baggers. I hope he continues to do so.

He said that business with part D never happened. Nobody told him he was wrong...

nobody.

Then he had coburn on there and asked him if the gop might be shooting themselves in the foot by being so negative about the ACA. Coburn said yes.

At which point he started compaining about big gov't, the debt, the deficit, young kids with droopy pants, violent video games...

ok, I made up the last couple...he might well have said those things after I hit the button.

IOW, coburn provided an example of why the gop is shooting themselves in the foot. And never realized it.

I didn't even make it to the bagger Coburn. Once joe-blow said President Clinton was rewriting history and no one corrected him, I had enough. I will never watch morning joe so long as joe-blow is on it.

Especially when I began to see Mika sitting beside him nodding her head in agreement when he spouted off!

many ways, but I have to say he always comes through when it's most needed. Many Democrats owe him BIG TIME! AND, I'm sure the WH is aware of it. They don't call him BIG DOG for nothing.

In many many ways, Democrats, even a liberal like me have to say Thank You! ACA is far from what this country needs, but we all must believe it's the seed that will grow into so much more!

Ulterior motives aside, this man knows how to play HARDBALL!
