Keep your eyes on the Georgia Senate campaign, Republicans continue to dissemble.

Last month there was this

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-10-31/romney-donors-back-democrat-over-tea-party-in-georgia.html

Signs of the Republican Party rift between business and the Tea Party are showing up where Democrats most want to see them: in the campaign account of Michelle Nunn, daughter of four-term Georgia Senator Sam Nunn.

“The vast majority of Americans say they don’t want the government to shut down, they want middle ground,” said John Wieland, founder of John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods Inc., who together with his wife penned checks totaling $10,400 to Nunn’s Democratic U.S. Senate bid. In the 2010 midterms, the Wielands each gave $4,800 to the Republican Senate candidate.

Now we have this

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/four-top-staffers-leave-ga-senate-candidate-who-promised-obamacare-repeal-or-go-home

Four top staffers for Rep. Phil Gingrey's (R-GA) Senate campaign resigned on Monday.

The staffers included consultant Chip Lake, campaign manager John Porter, political adviser Justin Tomczak, and political director David Allen.

"We were just at a crossroads and I decided that it would be best if both parties moved in a different direction," Lake said in an email to TPM on Tuesday. "I have nothing but respect for Phil Gingrey and wish him nothing but the best moving forward."

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that the departures had to do with a "leadership struggle" on Gingrey's campaign. Lake refused to elaborate on the disagreements to TPM. The exodus of the staff seems to be, in part, the result of longstanding tensions between Gingrey and his family and members of the campaign staff over leadership and the campaign's directions.

Nunn currently leads or is tied with all the Republicans in the race. The ones she's dead even with are Phil Gingrey (both at 41%) and David Perdue (both at 40%). She leads Karen Handel and Jack Kingston each by 2 points at 40/38, Paul Broun by 5 at 41/36, Derrick Grayson by 6 at 42/36, and Eugene Yu by 7 at 42/35.

It would be nice to have a Dem candidate in Georgia that I could have a prayer of helping win.

You passed.

or you could actually argue that they are disassembling their chances of winning the Senate.
