Record High Number of Americans ConsiderThemselves Political Independents

---

About forty-two percent of those surveyed designated themselves as independents in 2013, the highest Gallup has measured since it began asking the question 25 years ago.

Meanwhile, Republican identification fell to 25 percent, the lowest over that time span. Democratic identification at 31 percent is unchanged from the last four years but down from 36 percent in 2008.

The actual middle is within sight of the cliffs now. The Far Left is now the Old Center of the 1960's.
Unless we can pull things back, we are all going over the Right side cliff.

With varying degrees of wit and and snark.

I'd say that the shifting demarcation has been orchestrated by the corporate media, in concert with their bought politicos.

If corporations can overthrow governments, they can make us think we are really to the Right of where we actually are.

Are more Repugs moving toward being Independent or are more Dems moving toward Independent?

I have to venture to say that more Repugs are moving as some that I talked to are becoming embarrassed of being associated with and being called a Repug. They say they haven't converted to Dems - but they need to move from identity of the Repug Party.
