Christie--I was duped

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/christie-statement-bridge
snip:
“What I've seen today for the first time is unacceptable," Christie said. "I am outraged and deeply saddened to learn that not only was I misled by a member of my staff, but this completely inappropriate and unsanctioned conduct was made without my knowledge."

Yeah right. How many staff are going to fall on their swords to cover his backside?

And make clear that the penalty for perjury includes jail time.

Somebody will be flapping their gums in no time.

This is going to get good. Hope everybody has plenty of popcorn and Champaign on ice.

I like the idea. But of course, if they do, the 5th. will be invoked with every question.

Christie is toast. so much for a presidential run.

But some NJ people have indicated that recall is not an option.

Can't a US attorney launch an investigation? I believe they can issue issue indictments. Not sure because I am not a lawyer.

Maybe somebody who actually knows what's what can chime in here. I would be merely speculating.

Impeachment can also occur at the state level; state legislatures can impeach state officials, including governors, according to their respective state constitutions.

He's "outraged". If he wants us to halfway believe him, he has to aggressively investigate this. It's without a doubt something that needs to be investigated.

And if he is directly involved? Ooh boy. That is like textbook "between a rock and a hard place".

Has no idea what they are up to?
Doesn't look too good.
And yeah, I bet he didn't know what was going on, right.
Or is it possible that he stocked his staff with mean-spirited bullies.

No one will buy it. Even without the Nixon tape-esque smoking gun, this is now Chris Christie--and you're crazy if you don't think a teabagger will use this against him in a Presidential primary in the hopes of goading him into losing his temper.

he is THAT MUCH of a fat hog.

I mean how unhealthy is he! I doubt he will live to see 5 years from now.
He needs to join the BIGGEST LOSER TV show.
