I think he fails to understand how difficult it is to overcome a united media, a united media dedicated to preserving corporate power.
The media and political structure have completely adopted the trickle down philosophy as an absolute. We are watching the infrastructure decay before our eyes because what little revenue as exists is quickly gobbled up by the military industrial complex.

He may not be the last authority on everything, but he has been around, and is usually well worth listening to.
