Watching Up wuth Steve Kornecki ...

He's interviewing the Independent candidate for Kansas Senate seat, Greg Orman (sp?).

I'll tell you ... I don't trust the guy. He dodged every question (Good questioning Steve ... short, direct questions that left little wiggle-room without it being clear the answerer is wiggling), blamed both parties for Washington's dysfunction, and just in general set off my a$$hole meter ... maybe it was his "I was never, really, at home in either party" explanation for this being his 3rd party identification in 3 races ... Or maybe it was his "I'm going to fix D.C." persona.

I don't know.

He doesn't want to alienate either Republicans or Democrats who are willing to vote for him. Pretty typical politician.

In fact, he didn't weasel any more than the female Dem who owned the Trek company, who offshored the vast majority of jobs in manufacturing Trek bikes and even talked about how it was 'taxes and government regulations' that made manufacturing in America problematic. She was sounding like a Republican more than a Dem, so who knows, maybe she's after crossover and middleground votes too.
