Challenging the architect of the shut down.

[cross post from NC forum]

Remember that time Mark Meadows rallied the TEA Party and shut down the federal government in the middle of tourist season, costing his district $16,000,000? He is representing my part of NC and that bothers me.

This guy is working to replace him: https://www.facebook.com/tomhillfor.congress?fref=ts

If you know anyone that could help get rid of Meadows and substitute some competence in government that would be sweet.

By the way, you might also enjoy this little tid bit (6 sec long) from Mark Meadows about "comfortable poverty." No pause. No hesitation. You can't make this stuff up!

And wishing you the best of luck! I've spent a lot of time in Western NC - my grandmother lived in Black Mountain - and you've certainly got the support of those I've gotten to know there!

5. Thanks Rhiannon!

My campaign is strictly grassroots. I need the support of people like you (even though you don't live in my district). Please spread the word

And once you get over 10 posts, you can post an original thread yourself. If you want to get the attention of North Carolinians, you can post in the North Carolina State Forum, though I can see you've discovered it before. It's extremely cool to have a real candidate on the board! Best wishes!
