They can collect million$ in donations, but none of them count if people don't vote.

to work for Mary Burke. I worked on the Massachusetts governor's race before this but my candidate lost in the primary.

I also got DFA's Jim Dean (Howard's brother) to a radio station I guest on in the summer on Cape Cod, to help spread the word, although in Provincetown, Mass. that was definitely preaching to the choir.

I have already voted, and I must have contributed somewhere between 15% and 20% of my after-tax income to Democratic candidates and causes this year, since I'm fortunate enough to be able to do that. But in Texas, other than hoping that I have helped Wendy Davis go from underdog to top dog, it's still pretty much of an uphill battle.

...and somehow I bumped it off as I remembered other options.

So by all means mention donations to groups or specific candidates (I do both).

I don't have any money to give. I dislike phone calls, ads, etc., so I refuse to phone bank.

Basically, I will vote. And encourage everyone to do the same.
