I do not think Donald Trump is a racist. I think he is just an opportunist and an attention seeker. As far as I know he was not one of the orginators of the Obama was not born in America meme. He also was not one of the first to attempt to disrespect President Obama. It seems to me that Donald Trump only started doing the Birther/racist thing once others started getting attention. He kept doing it as he got more and more attention. I think if news anchors had either ignored him, or condemned him harshly he would have stopped.
