Asking for some good DU vibes for my beloved Texas today.

I'm asking for some DU good vibes for Texas today as this could be a real turning point.

Those of us with any sense down here have worked our butts off to get Dems elected. We've talked, we've stood up and countered the lies of the Republicans, we've laughed, we've cried, and now we've voted. We've taken anyone we could with us to the voting booth, too.

So it's up to what happens today. Texas either moves forward today, or else Texas dives back into the hands of the Rick Perry types and we go backwards yet again. As a life long, sixth generation Texan, please trust me when I say that we desperately need to move forward.

Thank you in advance for any good thoughts, prayers, vibes, white light, etc. that you are willing to send to us today.

Go, Wendy and Leticia, Go!!!!!!!!

Texas is a State that is changing, that has the most virulent Republican organization in the country to contend with, but when Texas does finally step forward it will be a watershed moment for the entire country.

There are some amazing cities, natural wonders and great chow. On the beach. Or Austin. Even Huston can make me happy, sprawl and I are old pals from my CA days.....

I may regain my pride at being a native-born Texan.

If not, I can still be a proud Washingtonian, with apple juice in my veins...

My hopes are that we make huge in roads in people voting blue. I wish I could be optimistic about winning, but I'm at least wanting to see that we have really turned the numbers around. So much so, that the Teabaggers in our state start to really worry.

Worked with some good Dems this election. Things seemed more organized this time around, and we found some very favorable homes. I saw some who were totally working their asses off, everyday of the week.

The effort was certainly there. I hope we get some good news from all the hard work.

Well the politician Greg Abbott will do just that, and not in a good way. He's a complete bastard, woman-hater, lover of Ted Nugent, and world class hypocrite.

Texas has endured lousy governance for 20 years, but I don't know how much more the working class and poor of Texas can take.

The crooner was a lot more talented than the politician by the same name. Better looking, too! LOL

All you say is correct. It absolutely STUNS me that more Texans don't see this election as clearly as it is. It is literally the choice between moving forward and going backwards.

Good looking fellow, too.

a lot of time was taken by each voter, which means people weren't voting straight ticket. I think that's a good sign.

I also noticed a hell of a lot of uncontested republican judges! That is an ongoing trend in Texas that I wish would end.

We need a Dem in every category! I know it's a money issue, but there needs to be a name there even if that person hasn't spent any money campaigning.

The negativity has been intense this time around. I'm tired of hearing how bad it's going to be. Let's count the votes first.

It could happen - we've registered a record number of new voters, and in spite of the efforts to disenfranchise citizens, turnout is great. If you remember, Ann Richards was way behind in all the polls and ended up winning. Let's hope history repeats itself.

Go Team Wendy!
