If this becomes a rethug tsunami I hope President Obama announces

tomorrow he will wield his veto pen abundantly so that no rethug legislation is inflicted upon the nation. In his last two years in office he can be the bulwark against teabagger insane legislation. That can become an enduring part of his legacy.

Although I wouldn't put it past him to attempt to "find common ground", as he seems to have a marked inability to learn from the past.

You really think he'll do that rather tha "compromise".

Get ready for chained CPI, raising the retirement age, Education "reform", and god know what other "bipartisan" claptrap he can muster.

He'll, even on his own signature healthcare law he backtracked on certain things for no other reason than Republicans bitched and moaned.

What will happen in my opinion is that SS cuts will now be on the table for real, along with approval of the Keystone pipeline and other Republican wish-list items, in the foolish interests of "bipartisanship".

Most here have been kicking Pres. Obama and his ass his entire two terms… So now, everything that they don't want, if it happens, will also be his fault! Sounds an awful lot like those democratic candidates who also blamed Pres. Obama and ran from him! Looks like it takes one to know one!
