NY Times: New York City Elects a Republican Under Federal Indictment

http://takingnote.blogs.nytimes.com/2014/11/05/new-york-city-elects-a-republican-under-federal-indictment/?_r=0

"It turns out that even a 20-count federal indictment did not stop New York voters from re-electing Representative Michael Grimm of Staten Island. Mr. Grimm, a Republican, easily beat former City Councilman Domenic Recchia, a workaday Democrat who would have done the job in Congress with a lot less bluster. At least he probably wouldn’t threaten to throw a reporter off a balcony, as Mr. Grimm did earlier this year."
