What is the Over/Under on the House Bringing Impeachment Charges Against the President

http://www.salon.com/2014/11/06/gops_brash_impeachment_talk_why_they_clearly_dont_understand_the_constitution/

snip:
The recent 40th anniversary of President Richard Nixon’s resignation from office gives us a useful perspective on the calls by right-wingers for the impeachment of President Barack Obama.

Start with the mark of 180 days as the over/under. I will take the under. Teahaddists in control and Boner is clueless and powerless, but what a tan. And golf game.

What's he done that's impeachable? Cover up and help prevent the war crimes of the Bush regime from being prosecuted. You think they want to touch that can of worms with a ten foot pole?

None of the other nonsense they talk about impeachment with is remotely impeachable.

from doing all kinds of dirty criminal tricks to provoke him and invent something to impeach him.

But I agree with SafeInOhio's three words "Joe Biden President." They'd much rather have
Obama than Biden as president. It's much easier to get what they want from Obama. He's
a pushover for appeasing them. I think he is obsessed with bipartisanship. And when someone
has an obsession, he's stuck with it. Nothing can change him.

Remember the debates of 2012? Biden showed Obama how to be tougher during a debate.

And how they will hurt the poor and the needy that their policies have already created.

How about we worry about how they'll roll back women's rights and gay rights and all civil rights.

How about we worry about them entrenching a horrible tax code that favors the rich and the corporations more than it already does.

How about we worry about them passing Keystone Pipeline, TPP, and chained CPI, all of which Obama would likely sign and not veto.

I think we have bigger issues that concern the country than whether they will go through some political theater bullshit.

for the next 2 years and occupy telelvision space while the rest of the loony crowd try to pass legislation for the benefit of the few. I think we need to keep an eye on Dems who may cross to the dark side and give enough votes to overturn the ACA veto that the POTUS will sign in Feb. I think their is a possibility this could happen.

.... I think they'll hold it over his head (in private) to get him to "compromise" with their agenda ... which, coincidentally wasn't too far astray from his own, all along.

members really want to do it and establishment Rs choose not to fearing that they need the next 2 years to show that they can govern. But maybe if the establishment do not look to impeach maybe Tea Party members will suit up for primaries against the establishment. Sarah Palin -- come on down and start with threats of primaries.

by shooting down keystone, executive orders on immigration, and vetoes the shit out of anything, including budget bills, anything that has an attached amendment that is loony toony or tries to take away from the ACA, the EPA, or anything else.

And does it with a bad attitude.
