Among other things, Cruz said Common Core "borders on pornography, with their so-called sex education." He also urged that America be turned into a Christian theocracy, and that his followers work to stop progressives from "allowing secular humanism to pervade society, to pervade our schools." Not surprisingly, EW Jackson - who, I'd remind everyone, Virginia Republicans selected as their Lt. Governor nominee last year - loved every word, enthusiastically seconding everything Cruz said. Great stuff, huh?
