He was confident, relaxed and so damn positive! I followed the graph on MSNBC and the reaction was overwhelmingly positive, too, even among those who signed up as Republicans! I guess sourpuss Boehner was back in the minority yet again...

I found it disconcerting as he frowned and fidgeted, etc. The guy knows he's on TV throughout the speech. Odd.

But to your point, Obama was on his game and the speech was extremely positive. Love how he "challenged" the Republicans to do the right thing and drop the pointless games.

I actually found it a little distracting, since everyone else was so positive. Between the color of his face and his expression, I was reminded of some kind of cartoon character - and I really missed seeing Nancy Pelosi up there...

And I agree that the president was at the top of his game tonight. He really seemed to be enjoying himself - and it was infectious.
