Jim Webb Completely Jumps the Shark in Bizarre "Middle Class" Tweet

After years of talking incessantly about how the "rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer, and the middle class is getting squeezed," Jim Webb suddenly decides he doesn't like "'middle class' lingo" and that "Fighting for hard working Americans and small business isn’t about class." HUH?

freaking well do speak out about it. That remark left me cold. Without more, it is pure babble. Don't waste my time.

He has his flaws, but is much more a populist Democrat than most -- especially Hillary.

He elaborated a bit latter (0.00 / 0)
"We are a country founded on egalitarian principles & should never accept the notion of membership in a defined class- upper, middle, or low."

class warfare' then "Fighting for hard working Americans and small business isn’t about class." is a fairly good response. It's about justice, equity, fairness and the vitality of the entire economy.
Webb is something of a bigot and not exactly cutting edge in his views around women, but on a few issues he's not so bad, this tend to be one of those and thus I assume his rhetoric is a answer to the inaccurate frame 'class warfare'.
He's ok on prison issues at times as well. Not a bad writer of fiction. I'd never, ever vote for him.

He would be great taking over from obama, continuing his legasy, and bumping to the left a bit.

He's in the low single digits, iirc behind O'Malley even. How does that make him the number one seed?

this guy is no leftist. He's nowhere near left. He's not even left of Hillary.

No thank you.
