Hi. I'm Ken Bennett, Arizona's Secretary of State and top election official!

Like everybody else with an IQ above 75, I know that President Obama is a US citizen born in Hawaii. And back in my 2010 campaign to become your Secretary of State, I promised not to endorse candidates myself, because otherwise I just wouldn't look fair and even-handed.

But times change, and we must change with them.

I have spent much of the last year asking my fellow Republicans to email me their concerns that President Obama might not be a US citizen, and in March (I am proud to say) I finally wrote to Hawaii's officials asking them to prove to me that President Obama is a US citizen.

Let me point out, yet again, that I already know that President Obama is a US citizen who was born in Hawaii. But that is not the point. There are other things at stake here. Fox News, for example, may suffer low ratings if this issue falls off the front page. So, even as I speak, executives at Fox are trying to rekindle interest in the question of the President's citizenship. Meanwhile, Arizona's beloved Sheriff Joe has sent his anti-terrorist experts to Hawaii to investigate further.

But I am coming under attack for my courageous stand. Needless to say, this is a moment that requires decisive action, and (as my friends all know) I am a man of decisive action. That is why I have picked this moment to become the co-chair of Mitt's Presidential campaign here in Arizona. No doubt I will be further attacked because of this. But I feel it is the right thing for me to do, and I hope helps you understand my behavior better

MOST B.S. legislation in the past 18 months so I would not put it pass this SOB (excuse the language)to start another "trend" in Birther stunts and other states try this little game play.

Hawaii needs to do another press conference and nip this in the butt right now.

Get millions of birthers to make the trip and see the proof for themselves. They could build a special Birther museum full of news clips, report cards and all things BO. Think of the increased tourist traffic!

Doesn't AZ have a rule saying officals can't be connected to election activites or is that just certain cities and states?
