I don't recognize my country anymore. Maybe it is because I live in Oklahoma where AP History is under fire by a Baptist preacher who sits in the legislature, but either way, we have talked about this....

No liberal vote need be lost. I live in Thailand and still vote in California, the last state I actually lived in North America.

I'll be staying here because I don't have the money to live there as a visitor. I doubt I could get a Work Permit or a Student Permit. I am not inclined to be a Missionary or a Minister. Since I am not a citizen of a Caribbean nation that is part of the CARICOM Single market, I do not qualify for Community Skills Qualification. And Trinidad Tobago are easier to get into than Canada.

Entry Requirements for Visitors to Trinidad and Tobago
Every person (including minors) seeking admission at a port of entry in Trinidad and Tobago must be in possession of a valid travel document/passport.
A person who is not a citizen or a resident of Trinidad and Tobago must be in possession of a valid return ticket to his/her homeland or country of residence.
A person who is not a citizen or a resident of Trinidad and Tobago must be in possession of sufficient funds for his/her upkeep during his/her stay in Trinidad and Tobago.
A person who is neither a citizen nor a resident of Trinidad and Tobago must provide a proper local address.
A person who is neither a citizen nor resident of Trinidad and Tobago and who is a citizen of a country that requires a visa for entry into Trinidad and Tobago must be in possession of such.
Every person seeking admission to Trinidad and Tobago on arrival must complete an Immigration E/D Card (Form 1).
A person seeking admission to Trinidad and Tobago other than as a tourist or visitor must be in possession of one of the following, subject to the purpose of the visit: -
Work Permit
Student Permit
Missionary Permit
Minister’s Permit
Certificate of Recognition of Caribbean Community Skills Qualification

Look at all the demographic groups Republicans have alienated even as their own voter base is dwindling through age and attrition. Remember how Dems struggled to remake the party after adopting civil rights as a major policy plank. Even if the R's turned over a new leaf tomorrow, it will take them decades of rehab to undo the damages they have done to their brand and promote a more inclusive message that will be competitive and attract future voters.

pool resources and try to be a better gig for all involved. Maybe that would allow those of more modest means to still be able to contribute to make it happen! Meet at Starbucks? ... Seriously, though, I often thought of it when BushCo was in charge. I figured to stick with US Territories, though. Not sure if I looked at other places or not, now, can't remember. So long ago.

also control both houses of Congress, they may just manage to finally take things so far that people just won't stand for it anymore.

It'll be France, 1789. Then they'll find out what "class warfare" REALLY is....

Off shore.
Why should we not want to keep our asses offshore.

Current trend, seems reasonable.

I've heard this before.

Just live conservatives were going to move when Obama got elected.

You won't move.
