And it is a great idea. Like the other bills he has introduced, it will not allowed a vote in this Congress. Republicans control the legislative agenda until the beginning of the next Congress in 2017, and then only if Democrats retake the Senate and/or House.

With Republicans in control, they will allow no such bill to come to a vote.

3. The American People will be asking themselves, why continue to vote for Republicans

who are in Congress for the purpose of the Elite instead of the best interest of We the People.

The Bill will be in Committee but not brought to a vote unless the People make it happen at the election. We the People are aware of the, approximately, 13% approval rating, of Congress. Now we have the opportunity to have a voice, a vote, to oust the refusers.

4. We have a government elected by a majority of those who vote.

It is that subset of the American People who elected a Republican House in 2010 and gave them the Senate in 2014.

I have no confidence that the American people will throw the bums out. A substantial minority of Americans who are negatively impacted by Republicans vote for Republicans. Yes, we may get good news in Presidential Election years, but if those people do not show up in midterm elections then Republicans is what we get.

a bill in the senate to back her suggestions. I do not think it would get out of committee but it would be very clear that on this vital issue they can and will work together. His would be another way of calling them out.
