Mitch McConnell the Perpetual Asshole

Don't tell me U.S. Senators deserve respect when they are the low life of Congress. If there was a barrel, the downside would have to be bottomless to accommodate Mitch McConnell. He doesn't represent the state of Kentucky--actually they should be ashamed of him--he represents the legions of hate. This misanthropy started the day after Barack Obama was elected President as McConnell said, “When I first came into office my number one priority is making sure president Obama’s a one-term president." How can you hate someone like this so quick, and after he had just won a landslide election against Republican favorite John McCain?

I have heard similar responses from other conservatives across the country who have commented on my posts. I've said it before and I'll say it again...it sounds downright racist. Obama put forth an agenda that, although not as ambitious, was not too dissimilar to that of Bill Clinton but the latter wasn't vilified by the conservative right nor by Congress, at least in the manner McConnell has Obama.

"Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said last Thursday that he doesn’t expect to confirm any of Obama’s circuit court nominees for the remainder of his time in office." Why? Is it because the Dems did the same thing to Geo. W. Bush at the end of his second term? Hell no! Here is the contrast as reported by Steve Benen of MSNBC:

At this point in 2007, in the seventh year of the Bush/Cheney presidency, soon after Democrats took the Senate majority for the first time in several years, the Democratic majority had already confirmed 18 of Bush’s court nominees. Senate Democrats confirmed 68 of Bush’s judicial nominees in the final two years of the Republican administration.

I would be happy to revise this post if Mitch McConnell would go public and explain his hatred for Obama.

And would go after this kind of behavior by getting out there in the media and calling them out on it.

I'm dismayed with my party. I don't understand why they let these political bullies just do this stuff. This is why so many democrats are not voting - if we saw more politicians who called the GOP out, named names, got on the news, threw a FIT like the GOP does over anything that does not go their way - maybe they would see an uprising of support.

I was a steady contributor via donations and volunteering for President Obama and for my local democratic party from 2008-2012. Now? I don't want to give them my money until I see them start to DO SOMETHING.

If you are reading this DNC - you should take note. This is why we got our asses kicked in the last mid-terms. Where is your plan for 2016? Who is being groomed for our future leadership? What is being done to find our democratic leaders in the House, Senate, and beyond 2016? WHERE IS THE PLAN? I don't want to get the emails telling me what sh*theads the GOP in congress are, I already am well aware of that. I want to know what you plan to do about it and I want to see action. What is your plan for our local politics? good grief -the majority of the population are democrats!

All you have to do is give us something to get behind and guess what - you get this:

The Democratic Congress's drought for balls goes back even further than GWB. And the Progressives have rewarded that with staying home when the time came to vote. We're in a vicious cycle that some left leader must solve. Could it be Bernie Sanders?

Have they accused BHO of being a murder and drug dealer, cause they did Bill Clinton. If they did, that would be proof of the rationale for hating BHO as being racism, right? Good Clinton and murders and see how many lunatic fringe right wing websites up are doing "body counts" for Bill Clinton trying to make it out like he had about 100 people murdered.

Have they brought up articles of impeachment against Barrack Obama, because they did with Bill Clinton?

They spent 8 years, 10s of millions of dollars, dozens of official congressional investigations including into the god darned pet cat, spiinng around until they finally dug up the blue dress.

Yeah, McConnell is a 1st rate dickhead, and yeah, they have been complete assholes toward BHO, and yeah, they gleefully race bait while they do it.

But, the root isn't the color of his skin.

The root is his party affiliation.
