The bloody confederate flag: why was it raised in 1962 in SC while in other states it was taken down

Now that white-supremacist leaning Republicans are backed into a corner because of the atrocity of the shooting of 9 innocent black people it appears that they are 'all concerned' that the Confederate flag on SC state building has to be taken down! We have Jeb Bush running around saying that the flag should be taken down yet a few days ago said it was nothing to do with him - only South Carolina.

I think Rachel tonight had some good info on the history on the bloody flag of South Carolina and the racist GOP.
