Clinton said November's general election, while close, would ultimately tilt for the Democratic incumbent.

"I still think the president will win by five or six points. I've always thought so," Clinton said, noting current economic conditions were driving down support for Obama in current polls.

"Still people feel uncertain," he said. "You know, when you've got a lot of people getting up in the morning, looking in the mirror, starting the day thinking 'They have failed,' that's a problem. And I think those of us who support the president have to get out there and explain what he did in rescuing the automobile industry, what he did in raising the mileage standards and the way they created 150,000 jobs."

If Obama's supporters can get that message out, Clinton said, "I think he will be just fine. And I think he will be re-elected."

"Sterling"? What's the fucking point, Bill? Other than to make nice with finance sector whiners who have been bugging you about Obama.

Dear Bill,

You did absolutely nothing to improve CAFE standards and, in fact, average MPG numbers fell under your watch and you allowed SUVs to enter the market as less heavily regulated in efficiency than they should have been.

Shame on you for this, Bill.

IMO, Bill doesn't come off as genuine in his comments, I don't think he wants President Obama to win. He wants him to lose, so he can play the, I told you so game. I told you to choose my wife, he is still butt hurt over the 08 primaries

in bed with the Republican Party as evidenced by his cozying up to Paul Ryan and being the "adopted son" of Pappy and Barbara Bush.

And then, Obama fills his cabinet with a bunch of Clintonistas that have made things worse. Holder, Summers, all of them! I believe that they are trying to sabotage Obama.

I also believe that Clinton is in bed with the Republicans. I think that Hillary has informed him that she will not run in 2016 so Clinton feels that he has nothing to loss by sabotaging the President. If Hillary was running then Bill would figure she would need the Black vote to win, but since she probably will not run, he can go for broke on Obama. I just hope Hillary never runs if Bill continues his verbal assault on this President because Black people have long memories and she will be the one who suffers. Have a great day everyone!
