They claim the stimulus plan was a disaster, one third of which was tax cuts. So....

we can throw that in their face. All those tax cuts did no good if what they say is true.

I would agree the stimulus package was too small but it kept things from getting worse. No way you can tell that to a teabaghead.

Obama and the Dems need to keep making these simple, but logical and cogent arguments. It is not that they should not talk about Bain, it's that there are more important points that should be pushed even more.

They would get away with that lie too. The media won't call Republicans on anything when they lie and their worshippers believe whatever they say.

It seems like the stimulus helped at least keep us from going all the way over the edge but the Republicans can't (or won't) acknowledge that President Obama might have done anything right or helpful because it would challenge their longstanding- but utterly false- narrative of Obama being an economic disaster for the country despite the job growth that has occurred (apparently in spite of him ) since a few months into his Presidency. I would also like to know why, if the 2001/2003 Bush Tax Cuts have yet to substantially improve the economy and/or help people- if at all- during the 9-11 years they've been in effect, it will supposedly hurt the economy if they are not extended indefinitely.
