(11,589 posts)That songs runs deep into my soul, always has from the time I was a kid and got to meet Pete Seeger on the hudson Clearwater river sloop.
I moved to the hudson VAlley in the late 1970's and it was a few years after that that we had a field trip to go on the clearwater. I was really young and Mr. Seeger was just a boat guy with a guitar.

(85,998 posts)...Martin seems to be making the best of that opportunity, out of all of the Democratic candidates; likely a consequence of his smaller crowds, but not out of character for my former guv.

Music that's very much embedded in my heart and soul.
