(40,656 posts)in her announcement to run, she said she would 'incentivize' business then we would all make profits.
PROFITS FOR YOU!
PROFITS FOR YOU!
AND PROFITS FOR YOU!
I think that's called bush tax cuts. Yes, that worked so well then.

(11,197 posts)minimum wage she would fight for? I know Bernie has stated a $15/hr minimum wage is what he would fight for.

If someone wants a good laugh, and has a sense of humor about the primaries so far, they can PM me and I'll PM it back to them.

(26,366 posts)her position on that. As to Glass-Steagall (Bill Clinton signed the bill that repealed it):

...
'Youre not going to see Glass-Steagall,' he said, adding that he had spoken directly to Clinton about the issue

(486 posts)Hi all,
This is my first post on DU. After lurking for a week or so I see some pretty severe polarization of opinion in this forum, but I am still forming my own. I found it curious that HRC got so little real-time coverage of her speech on MSM, and how little the network pundits commented on the degree to which it paralleled the positions of Sen. Sanders (albeit without his passion).
I'm reading, listening, watching, and considering ALL points of view about our critically important choices for 2016, and I'd like to read what others here think about the following punditry:
http://video.foxbusiness.com/v/4352135274001/hillary-clinton-putting-on-a-bernie-sanders-act/?#sp=show-clips
Thanks for not stomping the newbie, but please do tell me what you really think.

(486 posts)...or any other specific source or point of view.
I am simply an independent American voter who will be voting in the Democratic primary in 2016, trying to educate myself and finding many disconcerting opinions about the candidates from widely opposed sources, such as this piece from MSNBC today:
http://www.msnbc.com/the-cycle/watch/hillary-clinton-said-what--484198467702
And CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, NPR, BBC, are all "contributing" to my growing doubts about HRC.
I'm also seeing a great many specifically "liberal", "progressive", and "Democratic" opinions and comments posted across diverse social media and web-based sources (including here on DU), which seem to indicate a broad-based disenchantment within the party regarding its most likely standard bearer. Considering her lead in the polls and astoni$hing contributions, I'm surprised to see so many posts in opposition to her candidacy and I'm just trying to understand this.
Despite their vast field of candidates I find no one to choose amongst the Republicans... so I want to be sure the Democratic ballot does offer a choice.

I wish people would spend their time stomping Republicans instead of new posters.

(314 posts)When the GOP, Fox and their wall street allies were going to realize that Bernie is their worst nightmare. The corporate class will do very well under Hillary but should Bernie win the election the movement to reign in corporate greed could would and should
explode.
You got a good clip here Kenn a little embarrassing for Hillary perhaps but very telling that wall street biggies think what Hillary says is just vote gathering rhetoric.
