The Democratic Candidates receive negative press coverage for the most part

This letter to the editor sums up the press coverage of Democratic candidates accurately IMO:

The press covers Bernie Sanders as if he's proposing to overthrow the US government and install a socialist junta. They cover Hillary as if she's nothing but a series of scandals, all debunked by the way. Then they cover Donald Trump as if he's a serious candidate and hang on every word, going to great lengths to minimize the negatives or at least give Trump airtime to explain the reaction to his declaration that a brigade of Mexican rapists strolls across the border on a daily basis.

America has no press anymore.

topics being presented by Dems. It comes down to who is going to generate more revenue for the media. Let's face it, and we can't resist looking at a car crash. Viewers are watching these Republicans for a laugh because they're crazy and will say anything, not because they they are viable.

It's why they're becoming less and less relevant and why more and more people get their news from the internet. We can read stories that the MSM would never touch (disappearance of the middle class, for example) and can avoid crap like celebrity scandals that are peddled as news. I've not had a TV service for about 5 years now and the only time I see TV is in waiting rooms. And every time I see it I think, "I'm not missing a thing."
