So buying their ice cream doesn't support them anymore. They have spoken publicly about their disappointment in some of the corporate decisions for their namesake.

Just yesterday someone was posting that corporations don't give money to campaigns, the people who work for them do. So its totally okay.

Unilever makes solvents and 'specialized chemical agents.'

They've had a number of run-ins with the Rainforest Alliance and Greenpeace in recent years over deforestation and chemical disposal.

They were forced to sell the company by the board of directors and fought it. So the misinformation campaign is not necessary.

Although the founders' names are still attached to the product, they do not hold any board or management position and are not involved in day-to-day management of the company.
