Also, Romney's schedule is closely held and his campaign typically won't say what he's doing when he's not at one of the few public events he holds each week. Even public appearances often are announced less than a day in advance or not at all. Recently he rode to the site of the failed energy company Solyndra on the unmarked press bus, leaving the logo-plastered Romney for President bus behind at his hotel. Aides said the campaign was concerned the Obama administration would work with local officials to prevent Romney from holding an event there.
Romney's campaign also usually won't disclose with whom the candidate meets regardless of whether they are high-ranking officials or simply voters. He kept reporters away from a private meeting with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell last month, and says he regularly holds "off the record" meetings with middle class families, though he won't say who they are.

28 years of unpaid service? And he somehow found time to amass a fortune of a quarter billion dollars, starting from nothing but shares of stock, a trust fund and connections from his father? And just what is so great about being a missionary in Paris (aside from getting out of Viet Nam, that is)? And is it so virtuous to claim mandatory church tithings - some part of which go to support political causes - and grants to one's own charitable foundation as charitable contributions (yes, I've read his posted tax returns - have you?).
Tell me more about this supermajority Obama supposedly had for 2 years - in my world, he had a bare majority in the Senate, where most of the legislation passed by Pelosi's house got stalled.

The Mormon religion says to "avoid the appearance of evil" , not avoid evil, just don't appear evil. I would say that is what Mitt is adhering to. If Reagan was Teflon? Mitt has added cloaking technology to his arsenal.
