When Willard Romney spoke about his returns last night this is what I heard him saying:

I'm rich and you're not. I'm proud of being a selfish fuck! Get off of my ass, I paid the bare minimum in taxes that I had to pay and still stay with in a hair's breath inside of the law.

I have a problem with the law and the people who wrote it and the people who want to rewrite it to make it favor the rich even more.

I try not to pay more taxes than required given my current income and I wouldn't if I made 40mil either.

He'd be an idiot to pay more than he has to. Warren Buffett does the same thing, even though Warren Buffett thinks it's wrong. But he's not going to toss in a few extra million just for fun, and I don't blame him.

I think Romney missed a great chance to appeal to the 99% by being so coy about his tax returns. He should have been balls-out "This is how much I made, this is how much I earned, it's all legal, and it's the fault of the tax code, not me."

I do taxes to make the little I am permited to make because of my disability. I alway, always go to the letter of the law. When I do tax returns it is my job and responsibility to take every deduction and exploit every loophole...

Doesn't mean I agree with the law, which is why I am a democrat.

The thing is most of my clients are republicans and they are really happy with me.
