A few billionaires are so drowning out the rest of us that OUR freedom of speech (political money) has become worthless.
Everyone should be limited to the same amount...period.

(23,867 posts)I'm thinking how it applies to news broadcasting, and other media. They have big "mouths". But in essence, an important part of our speech regarding elections has been effectively silenced.

(14,275 posts)If the Supreme Court equates money with free speech, then they have assured that those with the greatest wealth have the largest say and the loudest voice. That is completely anti-democratic.

Did you not see the (political money) part? That is the speech being referred to.
When one person can carpetbomb the airwaves with his political message because he has unlimited money, the rest of us little people no longer have a voice.
Is it really that difficult a concept?
