Elections shouldn't be based on likability--they should be based on whoever is more capable of executing the responsibilities of the job. Just because it benefits us this time--that is, our candidate isn't stodgy and socially awkward--we shouldn't celebrate it.
I happen to believe Obama is much more capable than Romney.

Romney was Gov of Mass in 2004, and he decided to run for President in 2005, and left his one term in office as Mass Gov in Jan., 2007, never bothering to run for a second term, because he had put Mass in debt more than ever, raised all fees and college tuitions 60% or more.
