Racism and sexism in full bloom

A better example of raw racism in our modern discourse cannot be found.
When the hypothetical voting intentions of a subset (distinguished only by the color of their skin)
of the American people are cynically discussed as a bulwark against the upsurge of a candidate.
All against a backdrop of the absolute void of attention and service to this demographic by candidates
claiming an advantage. What exactly has been done in the past to earn this alleged allegience?

But for pure sexism, making women appear weaker or subject to different treatment, hiding from the press
under some bandied rubric that the press will be hard on her, the opportunity to prove worth in leadership is discarded, with victimhood substituted. That alone may be even more harmful to social progress.

none of this makes any sense, other than hamhanded vicious opportunism of desperate and cynical political manipulators with no real cards to show or hold. The inferred issues cardboard cutout backdrops.
maybe it works on a handful of voters unwilling to think for themselves, but in the civil struggle against disrespect and injustice, these actions only diminish progress.

not exactly a shock when you factor in the real legacy of 1990's America.

people get pretty excited when some dumb bigot acts out.
why the complicit silence on this?
nevermind the faux outrage and dishonesty.
if you cant do better than that, your choice for a candidate is not to be trusted.

I was waiting for the obligatory exacerbating "group X allied with person Y are just sexists and racists" argument. You did not disappoint.

Either that or you're saying that it's counter productive , I'm sorry red I can't tell.
