2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWell, I'm looking forward to Bernie's event in Portland tomorrow.
Will there be more security? Will BLM do this disruption again?
I hope not. I want to hear what the man has to say.

And if I did make the effort to go, the expenses, the time etc, I would like to be able to hear him speak.

When he is done they can leave as he goes down to shake hands with the people.
All the guards have to do is block the BLM bullies from getting on stage. They do not have to touch them or speak to them. They need to act like a football team's offensive line protecting their quarterback.
Rosa Luxemburg
(28,627 posts)4. I think it will be important NOT to prevent BLM from speaking
but I think they should let Bernie speak. The real organizers of BLM should arrange with Bernie to speak at the beginning, in the middle or at the end.
I do think Bernie was set up tonight by some who weren't representative of BLM
