Related: About this forumBernie Sanders and Al Gore on climate change.
And on the issue of faith vs science.
So the question becomes who would most aggressively tackle the growing crisis of global warming climate change?
I have no doubt it would be Bernie Sanders.

(58,366 posts)2. Here are a couple of other questions.
Does anyone out there believe that global warming cares about black lives?
Would the growing crisis of global warming ie: floods as in New Orleans from Katrina, drought, increased food and water shortages displaced populations affect minorities and the poor in a disproportionate manner than the wealthy and in most cases white people?
I'm of the belief that global warming climate change will ultimately devastate everyone regardless of race or income but the first victims will be the weakest from a sociological and economic point of view.

$200,000 plus for hour long speeches to special interests. Someone who has been vocal about Climate Change for years, Bernie Sanders, so we can feel the Bern, not the Burn!

It's an hour and half long but well worth the watch, it greatly illustrates the message of how greenhouse gases; carbon dioxide and methane have dramatically affected the Earth's climate over eons.
Humanity has only existed for a blink of an eye in relation to the Earth's history and from the very beginning of the first humanoids up until approximately 1800 there were only 1 billion people on the entire planet, in a little over 200 years we have went to over 7 billion mostly due to the Industrial Age.
We would be the first species to have the power in mindlessly trashing our own life sustaining environment, we can't control every possible catastrophe that could threaten our civilizations if not species, but it's imperative that we learn to live in harmony with nature, while we also learn to branch out into the stars.
