Joe Biden is someone who could cause me to switch.

I liked Joe Biden immensely over the last 30 years I've know of him. I even thought the whole plagiarism scandal in 1987 was overblown. If Biden gets serious about it, I'll have a lot to think about.

Come On Biden REALLY!!! I don't think that's going to fly with a lot of democrats.Charlie Pierce said it best so he's saying basically he wants to be a lame duck from day one when sworn in.And his whole target will be SC. only and will not campaign in NH or Iowa.Biden isn't in my opinion going to get any traction I'm old enough to remember his run as President years ago twice in fact he really is a lousy campaigner and doesn't hit back at his opponent when gone after.

LOL. (If you don't know, MBNA, the bank credit card company has its HQ in Delaware. Joe has had they back for decades.) Delaware, the state where corporations have loved to incorporate since the Rockefellers.

You may want to have a beer with Joe; but he is as corporate as they come. The son who got a position with an oil company in the Ukraine. More of the same. No motion. No progress.

Please.

from my sister who lives in the UK.

The reason I mention this is that we visited Yalikavak one day, so many of the yachts all sported ... registered in Delaware.

We had to laugh at a large yacht that just had the lettering place with the words 'Papa's New Toy' and underneath it said Delawear. Someone was not going to be pleased!

But it depends on his messaging.

He could possibly pull me away from Bernie, but he would need to be addressing the same issues with a similar approach.

Love crazy ole Uncle Jo, but his time is over. Mr. Vice President, time to enjoy your retirement as the elder statesmen.

but out of all the D candidates and would-bes, he's the one who I'd have no reservations voting for in the primaries. He is a do-er he has passion, and he has been perhaps the most loyal to Pres. Obama since January '09 and probably would be the most willing to build on his agenda.

I will only semi-forgive Obama for his lies against the Clintons in 2008 if Biden doesn't butt into the nomination process. If he does, I will never forget Obama and thus Biden's guys for what they slandered the Clintons with in 2008; attacks on the Clinton Foundation, using the Perot-Myth to attack the Clintons' electoral legacy/prowess, bringing up and giving credence to "Whitewater" and other non-scandals, false racism accusations, all of which would've or did fit very well with the GOP attempt in the 1990s.

Does anyone here aside from me realize that from 1968-1988, IL, CA, NJ, VT, and NH went Republican 6 out of 6 times, MI, DE, ME 5 out of 6 times, PA, CT, ME, MD 4 out of 6 times. Why is this fact forgotten? Or is it just too easy to take what Bill and Hillary Clinton gave us? The Clintons built a bedrock base of electoral college votes that Dukakis, Mondale, McGovern, and HHH would've died for, and that Obama ought to forever be thankful for. Even inept campaigners like Gore and Kerry were saved from sheer humiliation because of it. Since the Clintons, we've won the popular vote 5 out of 6 past elections. That was the GOP's record not too long ago.

I believe we must honor the Clintons, and nominate the most qualified person for the job, Hillary Rodham Clinton. Joe Biden just went along for the Obama ride, which also was made possible by the Clintons. Had Clinton not made our electoral college base, or gotten welfare and tough-on-crime out of the national election scene of issues, Obama and Biden would not be in the White House. Biden would still be in the Senate being more conservative than Hillary.

If not Sanders or O'Malley, though, I support Hillary over the other candidates including Gore if he gets in. Policy wise, Hillary and Biden are pretty similar. I think Hillary would be a better campaigner. Plus, I don't like what Biden did with bankruptcy law. I would welcome him to the field though - more debate couldn't hurt.
