On the road with Hillary Clinton as she surprisingly connects with voters

Sometimes, it's easy to lose track of the reason Hillary has been popular with Democrats in Arkansas and NY; minority and immigrants; women, retirees, and teachers. Even though Hillary has proven she can speak to large crowds, she really wins in small groups.

"She brought me to tears. I am a tough, cranky, hard-a-- New Englander, and she touched my heart today," businesswoman Denise Andrews said after attending a town hall meeting in Exeter, N.H.

News coverage of Clinton's Exeter appearance focused on her reaction to "offensive, outrageous" Trump, rather than her interaction with the mother of a 5-year-old girl battling cancer or the young man drowning in college loans and unable to find a job. ("You're a good-looking young man. You ought to be out in the world making your way," Clinton said, sounding like a grandma.)

"She has so much compassion, and it shows," said middle school teacher Sarah Harris, the mother of that girl close to beating Stage 4 liver cancer. "She's a person, she's a grandmother, she's somebody's mother."

"She is so knowledgeable in so many areas, and she connects really well with folks. The longer the campaign goes, the better for her, I think, because more people will see her and get past all that noise."

There is no shortage of that.

She does connect with the voters. Can't wait till the primaries start and the noise level begins to diminish.

"...get past all that noise..."

Indeed. She connects with people. She's been given such a bad rap. She's been an absolute pin cushion for the far-wrong since the 90s nationally, and farther back than that locally in Arkansas. And somehow she's survived and stood up to all that and risen above it all. I want that in the White House!

Kelly O'Donnell. No interviews with people cheering or attending the Iowa fair, no reporting on policy.

Just a scroll at the bottom and Kelly talking about emails - and one clip of Hillary about "snapchat" and joking about emails.

Biased reporting at best. Do they EVER talk to supporters or ask why they love Hillary? Rarely.

It wasn't a giant group but she was brilliant. I almost felt sorry for everyone who followed.

I'd like to see Hillary, Martin and Bernie.

Plus I have a craving for chicken wings.

There are pieces of the speech but so far as I have seen there isn't one in it's entirely.
Here's an OP that is pretty spot on (though, if you read the whole piece you will see the writer tried to boost Sander's tepid reception there. If anyone actually came close, it was O'Malley.)

This is indicative of the debates to come, imho. Hillary shines with honest experience, record, and solutions, when she is speaking. Bernie, honestly, just scolds.
