2. I used to live very near there!

Maumee is incredibly historic. Across the river, in Perrysburg, is Fort Meigs, which was used in the War of 1812.

3. My sister, b-i-l and his cousin who is visiting from Germany will see our Pres.

on Friday! Pres. Obama will be speaking at an elem. school that they can walk to from their house (in Poland, OH). I'm so jealous! The cousin just turned 15 and this is his first trip to America. After they see the Pres., they are coming here for the weekend.
