Breaking: #BlackLivesMatter Protesters Disrupt Hillary Clinton In Cleveland.

Can we finally put to bed the notion that #BlackLivesMatter only attacks Bernie?

There is no conspiracy to only go after Bernie.

Today in Cleveland:

Black Lives Matter protesters disrupt Hillary Clinton: ‘Stand with black trans women’
by Jorge Rivas
August 27, 2015 1:44 p.m.

Black Lives Matters demonstrators shouting “say her name” disrupted a Hillary Clinton campaign stop in Cleveland on Thursday. The two women called on Clinton to “divest from private prisons and invest in the liberation of black transgender women.”

<...>

The women said the disruption was part of a series of actions this week calling attention to the number of black transgender women who have been murdered this year. At least 20 transgender women have been killed this year, 14 of them black women. In nine of those cases, Fusion found last week, charges have been filed.

Again, the poster isn't advocating that she get shoved. To suggest otherwise is either disingenuous or stupid. Yet again, the point was obvious or it should be anyway. One more time: suggesting that Clinton has now been equally disrupted by BLM is absurd. That doesn't mean anyone is wanting to see Clinton get shoved. It simply means there's no comparison between the way she was disrupted and the way Sanders was disrupted.

.... depths to which you are willing to stoop.

Sanders gave his talk to a cheering audience of about 12,000 inside a university pavilion a few hours after he was shoved aside by several Black Lives Matter activists who are calling for changes to the criminal justice system. Sanders eventually left the Saturday afternoon event at Westlake Park in Seattle without giving his speech.

The Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders was shoved aside by several Black Lives Matter activists and eventually had to leave an event in Seattle without giving his speech.

http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/aug/09/bernie-sanders-sidelined-in-seattle-as-black-lives-matter-activists-invade-stage

After about 20 minutes, "Sanders himself was pushed away when he tried to take the microphone back,' KOMO reports. Eventually, the organizer of the event announced it was over and Sanders gave a clenched-fist salute to the crowd and waved goodbye.

Not much is yet publicly known about Johnson and Mara Jacqueline Willaford, the other activist who pushed Sanders aside to talk about police brutality — in the process launching a tsunami of press and social-media commentary across the country.

I fully support my BLM brothers and sisters but disruptive activism at a candidate's presidential event to the point where the candidate cannot speak is not okay with me. I think you contact her team scheudle a meetings and work with her team to incorporate BLM policy initiatives into her platform. Presidential candidates like Presidents work in a collaborative leadership environment. I think BLM needs some mentoring in this regard because I'm not sure they always understand the broader political landscape.

I don't know why it is so hard for some people to understand this. The activists involved in the previous disruptions have tried to explain this themselves in various interviews but some refuse to listen.

For example:

JUAN GONZÁLEZ: And how do you respond to folks who say that, well, the Black Lives Matter now has been confronting several Democratic candidates, but the Republican candidates, of which there are many more, have largely been so far unscathed on the question of answering their policy issues in terms of the black community and of police violence and on mass incarceration?

DAUNASIA YANCEY: Yeah. But, well, every presidential candidate should expect to hear from us and expect to be held accountable. It’s actually a practice called "power mapping," where it’s similar to lobbying, where you actually map who’s closest to you on the issue and go to those folks first in order to force them to articulate their stance and then hold them accountable to it. So this movement is very strategic, and that’s what we’ve been doing.

I Will Not target posters because they have questions about my candidate.

Btw my candidate has secret service protection so it would be very hard to get close to her.

I think you've been targeting posters in this subthread who have questions about HRC.

BTW, you say HRC has Secret Service and that makes it difficult to get close, but #BlackLivesMatters stares down Ferguson cops with guns, dogs, and tear gas and were arrested. The Secret Service, as far as I know, have never killed or hurt a protester who got close to a sitting President. Heck, John Hinckley, was merely tackled.

The BLM activists at NN2015 and at Seattle risked arrest to make their point. Not so much in the OP.

All some HC supporters do is "act like crybabies" because those horrible Bernie supporters just won't leave Hillary alone.

But it's perfectly acceptable for them to call Bernie a racist, misogynist, gun nut, draft dodger, etc.

Has anyone come up with any other video? Surely there would be tons taken at a live event. I'd love to know what was happening contemporaneously on stage.

It was more heckling than anything, call me when one of the BLM activists has the balls to go on stage in front of Hillary (and her SS). I'll be waiting at the phone (for what may be a while)

One is a young woman shouting about the deaths of transgender women of color and private prisons. Both hugely serious problems that need shouting about and much more, but I'm not seeing any temporal link between what they are saying and any kind of campaign event. Looking at another video of Clinton giving a speech in front of an American flag background.

What is it that links the two videos? Are there other videos available that could show some kind of connection? Please post if so.

This is beyond necessary and it's time to step it up.

First comment when I pulled up the second video.

"Bitch your fifteen minutes are UP.
You cut Bernie Sanders you cut your own fool self.
And reparations??? You better get in line, take a number and have a Coke and a smile honey because if ANY reperations were to be made, they would be made to NATIVE AMERICANS first."

This is what we are up against.
