even though we both are women.

She fails out of the 3 leading candidates on this side, imo.

Her being a woman doesn't change a thing. We could have had Palin and that would hardly have been a win.

Look at Bernie's political expediency regarding the F-35. That should not disqualify him, mind you, it's just an observation that no candidate is perfect.

And since Clinton seems to be headed toward winning 2016, we may as well try to sway her to the 'right' way of thinking on the issues rather than fervently hoping that numbers lie.

And if she selects Julian Castro as her running-mate, it would be a beautiful stake in the GOP's heart to have had (potentially) 24 years of minority rule. Delicious.

"So, Hillary is better on women's issues because she has a vagina?"

of course not. you and many many men like to reduce it to this. but you and i know that is not the question or has anything to do with anything.

experience, personal experson and a lifetime working with women issues gives her a hands down advantage.

oh lookie, my answer looks nothing like your dismissive

"So, Hillary is better on women's issues because she has a vagina?"

that you and a hell of a lot of fuckin misogynist men like to throw at women that support clinton.

to have a woman at the bully pulpit for the first time in history focusing on our issues would actually matter, ya think?

me? i am voting omalley, but i do not have to dismiss something significant to hold my candidate up

but you can damn well bet we are hearing from EVERY misogynist man that the only reason a woman would vote for clinton is cause of vagina.

As a woman, I am insulted by the assumption that I would vote for Hillary BECAUSE she is a woman.
I do not care for her as a candidate - issues and deeds, who cares about gender? Gender should not even be on the list of reasons to vote for someone.

Or is this addressed to people outside of DU?
