Joe Biden Is The Man For Ohio and The Presidency of The United States

Bernie Sanders may be a principled man, but he is a single-issue candidate focusing narrowly on income inequality. While a favorite of the firebrand progressive-populist base, his style of economic populism is unsustainable for the future, especially in the globalized economy of the 21st century. America faced this problem of economic isolation and nationalism before, and President Franklin Roosevelt helped to navigate America's recovery by liberalizing and opening global trade.

All economic students learn in their basic 101 course that trade makes everyone better off. And in the competitive and globalized economy of the 21st century, isolationism is ill-advised and would be disastrous for American industry, manufacturers, and businesses that depend upon exports, imports, and international trade. Many Ohioans make their livelihood by being part of the global economy.

Joe Biden has consistently, from his tenure in the Senate to his stewardship as a key Obama ally with regards to the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal under negotiation, been a politician and visionary leader of the future. Susan Rice, President Barack Obama's national security adviser, credits the "Asia Pivot" and the TPP as Hillary Clinton's most important successes as secretary of state, but now, in light of Bernie Sanders' momentum, Clinton has waffled on these issues of late. Where she stands, nobody knows.

Biden's positions are clear. He stands on the side of the 21st century, not stuck in the quagmire of the 20th.Likewise, not only does Biden stand in favor of remaining competitive and a global economic leader in the 21st century, he also has a strong labor record that earned the adoration of AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka. Before leaving the Senate for the vice presidency, Biden held an 86 percent lifetime rating from the AFL-CIO. On the issue of America's economic recovery, Joe Biden is the obvious choice between Clinton and Sanders. http://www.cleveland.com/opinion/index.ssf/2015/08/joe_biden_is_the_man_who_can_b.html

everything from health care, gay-marraige, to closing down private for-profit prisons, ending
mass encarceration, esp of Blacks, ending police murdering Blacks, addressing climate change,
opposing TPP, etc. etc. I could go on. but you know the long list, or should.
