I think they like to ask Cheney his opinion for a coupe reasons. First, he always has an opinion on everything, and he's quick to offer it up, and it's usually loony enough to make interesting reading. Second, he has good name recognition: "Oh, yeah! The guy who shot his friend in the face!"
