estimate the turn out? Even cops who are experienced have problems. Whoever estimated 23,000 does not have to be doing it deliberately. It should be eliminated when wrong. But that does not make it deliberate. And it certainly is not out of desperation - Bernie's crowds have been consistently big crowds.

Instead, that OP deliberately misstated the venue as one with a much larger capacity, hoping to mislead people that Bernie's event was at less than half full. The actual venue has a capacity of 6,000, the OP misstated the location as a venue holding 23,000.

In the unlikely event that the OP was not initially intentionally misstating the capacity of the venue, many posters corrected him and asked that he correct his "error". Not only did he not do so, other supporters piled on and recommended the thread.

So it is a case of deliberate lying. I think it goes to show exactly what the campaign supporters stand for.

which holds between 4,300 - 6,000 people (depending on whether there are chairs or standing).

The OP confused the basketball coliseum with the complex that has several event arenas, small, large and medium. And, yes, they should edit their post because they were dead wrong.

I am puzzled as to why the author of the error has not corrected it, since the error has been pointed out repeatedly for the past 12 hours.

Seriously. Lots of young, energetic, enthusiastic people making their voices heard. Coming out to support a "crazy old man," if you believe the right...or the other Dem candidates.

It's making this crazy old man reminisce about the old days, when we'd stay up past midnight, on the edge of our seats, waiting to see who would win the nomination.

The only thing that truly scares me is the length of time before the election. You can bet the Vermont cheese farm that the opposition, in both parties, are in their war rooms drumming up ways to stop this Quixotic campaign. These pics make me proud of America's youth.

I've never been more proud of our younger generation (my 22 year old son is a Bernie support too-makes me SO proud). I give THEM all the credit for getting this ball rolling.

I'm just hoping Bernie and his staff are prepared for the wrath of D.C. and know just how strong it's going to be because it will be coming his way if he's seen to be winning.. He'll be getting it from establishment Dems AND the GOP. They have to try and stop him or their gravy train comes to a full stop! He also needs to stay off small aircraft.

Really nice to see you Atman. It's been a few years.

their dirty tricks, AND their 'faux concerns' and sweep them away in a tsunami of support for this incredible candidate.

They've worn out their dirty tactics, and rather than argue against talking points, SIGN UP a new supporter every time they try.

See the faux 'concern' over Bernie and minorities eg, a definite talking point.

The truth is that people don't yet know who he is but WHEN they do, minorities, whites Repubs, Libs, Indies across the board, they are FEELING the BERN!

They have latched on to something that is totally irrelevant and will be proven as such in another few months as more and more minorities become acquainted with Bernie.

My son and his wife were among them. However, I must point out that Greensboro is very nearly 50% black and that audience is pretty white. Outreach is very much needed. Jis' sayin'

...although the "sober" look poster DID finally correct his statement about the venue capacity, it wasn't corrected in the original post as it should have been, but in post #243. That doesn't count, in my book. The OP is still false.
