1. I'd much rather see a Sanders/Clinton ticket.

Seriously, The Pope already has a job. And, no thanks.

If we want to go into la-la land, let's talk about sticking Wavy Gravy on the ticket. At least he's pro-choice.

The Pope was just a compromise VP candidate.

Both are very strong on Liberation Theology.

3. You COULD have the ticket be from one state

BUT as a practical matter, the Constitution states the electors in state X cannot vote for both President from state X and VP from state X. That could mean in a close election, the forced non-choice of the VP by one state's electors could allow the other party's candidate to be elected VP.

That's why one would "never" see a Jeb-Rubio ticket, even if Trump or someone else implodes.

6. You do know that the pope is an anti-choice, homophobe, right?

His statements are clear and on the record. Complete opposition to all forms of birth control, complete opposition to full equality for homosexuals, and the head of an authoritarian misogynist homophobic institution with a long history of shielding pederasts from prosecution.

Why would I vote for the pope?

He keeps saying great things, but he can never get the Vatican to go along with him...

Watch what Pope Francis does, as opposed to believing what he says.

The rule is that the VP has to be eligible to become President, and the Pope is not eligible

Constitutional basics even as they demand to control government and the lives of others. So that's a big giant no to this foolish and bigoted concept.

Both disqualify him from the Vice Presidency (in that the Papacy is an honor or emoulment)

12. I realize you're kidding

but you do understand you're kidding in the same way as if you were to suggest a Sanders/Huckabee ticket, right?

All the nice words from Frank don't amount to crap, given his stance on gay marriage and women's rights, contraception being just the beginning.
