The young Clinton, who has a daughter of her own, says she believes that as more Americans get a chance to hear from Hillary Rodham Clinton they will understand "why I believe so strongly that she would make a great president."
Recent polls suggest Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has a lead over Clinton in New Hampshire and is closing the gap in Iowa.
When asked what Hillary is like as a grandmother, Chelsea Clinton said her mom is always game for singing "The Wheels on the Bus" to baby Charlotte and is helping her learn to walk. When asked whether her mom was a good singer, Chelsea Clinton laughed and said: "Not at all."
Chelsea Clinton was interviewed on NBC's "Today" show about her new book, "It's Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going!"

(14,733 posts)She had higher poll numbers because most people HADN'T heard from other people in the race. Now that they are, her poll numbers are dropping. Hearing from her more isn't really going to change anything, no matter how fast the weathervane spins.

(12,655 posts)for people to say that about their mom (excluding those who grew up in abusive or dysfunctional homes of course).
nice to see family loyalty, but she has been around politics long enough to know that someone singing to a baby does not necessarily translate into caring and effective leadership.

(35,015 posts)Her 'surprise' that not everyone loves her mom is ridiculous and naive. We don't know Hillary personally; all we know is what we've seen and experienced publicly for decades. Just another attempt to make Hillary seem genuine.

(9,497 posts)wants Chelsea to be a president down the line like some of the Clintonites hope for. (Must admit, I haven't read that here, but it is out there on other sites that support H)
She grew up in a bubble, lives a great life because of her parents and is surrounded by other grateful people who are employed by the company. I would be surprised if she didn't love her mom and see her through rose colored glasses.

(2,004 posts)Thanks for posting. It is amazing how well she turned out with all the ugliness aimed at her from such a young age.
Go Chelsea!
Go Hillary!
