Bloomberg: 11% of Democrats would never vote for Clinton

What's Behind Hillary Clinton's Drop in the Polls?:

Like Donald Trump in the Republican field, Clinton has become the most polarizing candidate for members of her own party. Eleven percent of Democrats polled in an August Quinnipiac University survey said they would never vote for her, the most for any Democratic candidate. Worse, “liar” was the first word that came to mind when respondents were asked what they thought of Clinton, according to the poll. In part, that result from the way Clinton has comported herself on the campaign trail, especially in a year when voters seem to crave outsiders.

Yes, 11% to 15% seems like a pretty normal number Blasphemer Sep 2015 #4

that said something like 14 or 16% of Democrats would never vote for Bernie. I'm hoping that number has dropped since it was last polled, but you never know. There's always going to be a chunk of people who won't vote for any given candidate.

No one is going to get 100% support. Also, during primary season, people are more likely to dig in their heels than they are during the GE. Those numbers might not stand after a nominee is chosen.

When election day comes around, I hope some meaningful percentage of these 11% will recognize that anyone on the ballot in the general with a "D" behind their name is better than anyone with an "R". Just that simple.

It's all well and good to have this "I will never..." attitude about the future but when the moment of truth arrives, things tend to change.

Soooo....

I will never vote for Hillary. How about Hillary vs. Trump ? Still never ?
I will never vote for Hillary. How about Hillary vs. The Huckster? Still never?
I will never vote for Hillary. How about Hillary vs. Santorum? Still never ?

It's easy to claim that none (or at least 2/3) of these guys won't be on the other side of the fence come 11/16 but those are the kind of circumstances that make the "never" claim pretty worthless.

While I haven't checked, I also hope that the other 93.75% of your posts are a little less tilted than this one. Feels like this is purposely framed up to be able to report a study released on 8/27 (more than 2 weeks ago) and connect the words Hillary and Liar.

Just sayin'

leaning independents would never vote for her.

If she is nominated, her chances of winning the GE are between very slight and zero. Whatever damage she has already done to her credibility will be increased tenfold once the republicans start in on her in a GE campaign.
